Is tado° compatible with my heating system?

In most cases, the Wireless Smart Thermostat X can replace your Nest Learning Thermostat 2nd gen. If not, we offer other solutions to fit your need. You can find out whether tado° is compatible with your heating system in just a few seconds using our compatibility checker.

Can I install tado° on my own?

You can install tado° devices yourself, even if you're offline. The app has step-by-step instructions, customised to your heating system.

If you wish, you can always get the help of a professional. The box contains a manual for professional installers.

Can I control tado° using Google Home?

You can integrate all tado° X devices easily into your Google Home ecosystem. In additon, they work with Amazon Alexa and Apple Home.

Do I need an additional bridge?

Both the Wireless and the Wired Smart Thermostat Starter Kit include a Thread Border Router to connect tado° to the Internet. Additional Bridges X can be added to expand the signal range in bigger homes.

Can I return tado°?

Yes, you have a 30-day right of return following your purchase. In addition, we offer a warranty of 10 years for all tado° X devices.
