The stat is a brilliant piece of kit
My only negative comment would be that the face plate can be pulled off relatively easily and I end up using the sticky pads to keep it on.

The tado smart heating system is easy and intuitive to use, incredibly easy to setup, and all round worth the money. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to smart-ify their heating.

We already have a wired Tado thermostat in our house which controls our combo boiler, so did not hesitate to buy the wireless system when my parents’ wanted to upgrade. Easy to follow instructions and I had it all done within 30 minutes.

We're gradually automating some aspects of our home and as Octopus was recommending Tado decided to go with their system. Easy to order and a good price too. Fast delivery. Videos suggested fitting would be easy - we were replacing a digital controller and a wired digital thermostat. The guide helps you label the wires from the existing controller (though there were too many cables to fit in the Tado connector - needed to use some cable blocks and a short length of extension wire). The instructions don't mention wired thermostats but an internet trawl indicated we needed to bridge the wired connectors (covered the hole where they were with a standard blanking plate from B&Q).
Had no room for the Tado bridge unit on the main router but I've a second one upstairs (above where the controller is too) but I needed to be logged into this one when I set up the app on the phone and the Apple Homepod link.
Apart from some rebooting after an unexplained power out it's been working well for a week now. HINT: take photos of all wiring before you undo it making sure that all labels are well lit and visible.
